Well there are those who say
"never volunteer". I took a tour of the Western
Aerospace Museum last weekend. I have always loved airplanes,
used to fly RC planes. When I saw this little guy, and found out
that they needed someone to give it a little TLC and get it
running..... well you guessed the rest.
Climb in and let's go for a ride. Today I got it working and spent about 10 minutes flying it. Boy what a kick. Once you close the cabin door you forget you're in a hanger and really get caught up in the whole thing. This is like a mondo video game for big people, without the quarter slot.
All of the control electronics are tucked away inside the tail here. This is where I will be spending the next few months troubleshooting. Well it's one month later now, and the Link is running fine.
